- Mā Tātou Digital Tool Prize Draw (“the draw”) is being run by Brown Bread on behalf of the Office of Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tahu (“the Promoter”)
- The draw is open to all participants of the Digital Tool who provide a valid email address and are eligible as per terms and conditions.
- Employees of Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tahu, Ngāi Tahu Holdings, and any of its subsidiary organisations are not eligible to enter.
- There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this draw.
- Only one entry will be accepted per person.
- There is no age limit for entrants but a minimum of 1 adult (18+) with a valid full NZ driver’s licence (or international equivalent) must be in the winner’s selected group of travel companions (“winner group”).
- By entering the draw, an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
- The competition opens 26 April 2022 at 9:00am NZST
- The competition closes 30 May 2022 at 5:00pm NZST
- Entries are submitted by providing a valid email address on completion of the Mā Tātou Digital Tool.
- The winner will be contacted via the valid email address provided.
- The winner will be notified by 3 June 2022. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 7 days of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and redraw a new winner at random.
- If a winner is drawn and they are ineligible due to these terms and conditions, a new winner will be redrawn at random.
- The Promoter reserves the right to reject entries on the basis of offensive or objectionable content which does not support Ngāi Tahu values.
- The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants via the Mā Tātou digital tool landing page.
- The Promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
- The prize package is estimated in value of NZD $4,000 and includes:
- Return domestic airfares for four people flying Air New Zealand to Queenstown from anywhere in New Zealand, subject to Air New Zealand’s Terms and Conditions below.
- One night accommodation for four people in Queenstown, breakfast included
- Standard rental vehicle: pick up and drop off at Queenstown Airport
- Shotover Jet Trip for four people
- A dinner for four people
- Merchandise pack
- The prize package is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. 19. The prize package is transferable to a Ngāi Tahu whānau member who is a resident of New Zealand.
- Prize Package is valid for 12 months from date of winner confirmation, travel must be completed by this time.
- Prize must be taken as a whole and not split into separate trips.
- Spending money and additional meals will not be provided.
- Winner group must be able to transport themselves to and from a major airport prior to and following the trip at their own expense.
- Extension of accommodation and rental vehicle dates may be possible but is dependent on availability and will be at the sole expense of the winner.
- The winner will be drawn at random from the eligible pool of entries. 26. The Promoter will liaise with the winner to arrange flights, accommodation, and rental vehicle.
- The Promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The winner agrees to the use of his/her (and the 3 other manuhiri’s) name and image in any publicity material.
- The winner agrees to being photographed and interviewed at an agreed time during or after their trip.
- Subject to any applicable law which cannot be excluded, The Promoter and their employees are not responsible for any loss or damage whatsoever that is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury suffered or sustained during the course of accepting or using the prizes.
- In the event that the prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
- The winner group must adhere to all relevant current vaccination, health and travel requirements related to COVID-19 within New Zealand.
